Roscoe Brown Jr. Student Centre

The project scope involves renovation of bookstore, cafeteria & conference rooms at CUNY Bronx Community College. The existing student center was built in the mid nineteen fifties as utilitarian brick box with no distinct architecture as compared to other landmark buildings on the campus green. The approximately 18,000 Sq. Ft. cafeteria, bookstore and conference rooms in this building are in poor condition and being renovated with addition of monumental stair to connect two level cafeteria. New elevator, H.C. ramp is added to make the building accessible to physically challenged.

Lighting was also used to elevate the overall atmosphere, general up-lighting was enhanced with a sparkles with a patterning of simple white diffused cone fixtures
